The Autumn Purple ash is a deciduous tree that is one of the tallest of the ashes growing 50-60 feet high. Leaves grow in feather like groups of dark green leaflets that turn a deep purple color in the fall. The tree likes sun. Growth may be best in deep, moist, well-drained soil. Hardy to USDA Zone 4.
