The Jackii Flowering Crabapple should be planted more oftent. It has beautiful white flowers in the spring and small red fruit in the fall. The Jackii carbapple has good resistance to most diseases including scab, rust, powdery mildew, and fireblight. Grows best in fertile well-drained, deep soils, but will also grow in rocky soil. It is also one the few trees that will grow in Zone 2-3 climates.
