These seedling japanese maples are more rugged, faster growing, drought tolerant, and they stand more sun and wind than the other named forms of japanese maples. Green leaves throughout the summer have variable red/orange/yellow fall colors. Prefers well-drained soil and hardy to Zone 5 with protection from winds.
